The owners of The Beach @ Bracklesham would rather be in the sea than anywhere else – we’re so lucky to spend our days in Bracklesham Bay.
Located on the West Sussex coastline, our stretch of beach is loved by families, dog walkers, an epic sea swimming community and water sports fans alike. We thank our lucky stars that we get to open the restaurant doors to panoramic sea views each morning.
Where we are
Located right on the beach at Bracklesham Bay, The Beach @ Bracklesham is one of the easiest locations to reach – especially in the busy summer months.
We’ve got a good-sized public car park right next to our restaurant. The journey to Bracklesham Bay avoids a lot of the traffic heading to West Wittering beach during the peak summer months – result!
Quieter than the neighbouring East and West Wittering beaches, you’ll find the perfect spot to enjoy a day at the beach come rain or shine. Whether it’s a still, sunny day or a windy, stormy one, the beach is always filled with families enjoying a stroll or adrenaline-loving water sports fans hitting the water with kites, wind surfs or canoes.
Bracklesham Bay
Bracklesham Bay isn’t just well known for water sports. If you take a stroll along the shoreline on a falling tide, you may well spot one of the area’s famous fossils – from shark teeth to corals.
If you’re a history buff, you’ll love spotting the remains of a tank used by Canadian soldiers who were practicing their amphibious landings before D-Day in May 1944, which can still be found if you’re a keen scuba diver.
